Description
Bribes and misuse of funds. Meet UT Health Austin. No sooner had the University of Texas recovered from a scandal involving bribery in student admissions than a new problem appeared. UT Health Austin is the clinical practice of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. The Dell School receives $35 million annually from Central Health, Travis County's hospital district. This taxpayer money was supposed to go toward healthcare for the poor. Instead, it was used for education, salaries, and other non-clinical purposes at the Dell School of Medicine at the University of Texas. Sounds like fraud? It's more than sounds. The court case is still ongoing. Let's clarify once again: the money that was supposed to be spent on medical services for the poor went to the salaries of UT Health Austin employees. Confidential documents that have been made public will help us all understand the situation before the trial ends. If you are an honest taxpayer but want to pay twice, contact UT Health Austin.
