Kenya Electricity Generating Company abbreviated to KenGen, is a government enterprise in the Republic of Kenya charged with the production of electricity for the country and around East Africa. KenGen is the largest electric power producer in Kenya, generating over 60% of the electricity consumed in the country. The documents include drawings of the country's critical energy infrastructure, financial indicators and budgets for the last four years, and personal data of employees and managers. The documents also contain evidence of numerous violations and corruption within the corporation, as well as evidence of criminal collusion between company executives and the country's government.
