In September 1972, Werner Mirnig and his wife Marlies founded the company Detroit – Kühl- furniture and shopfitting. The company grew continuously and became a sought-after specialist in refrigeration, Ventilation and catering technology. Soon the location was too small and the company moved into its Headquarters at Wienerstraße 338 in Graz. In 2003, Dipl. Ing. (FH) Jürgen Moser took over the management, Werner Mirnig continues to be active in the companies. His son Johannes Mirnig built the subsidiary KLG-Vertrieb in Germany successively. Today, KLG-Austria is also active in the fields of human medicine, cleanroom technology, panel technology and industrial sector. An in-house development that has proven itself many times over in practice is the "Starline" system, which is equipped with integrated control technology, remote monitoring and heat recovery provides perfect control and efficiency in cooling processes.
