Culver’s Lawn & Landscape began in 1982, when entrepreneur Todd Culver started a lawn mowing business at the age of 12 in Dallas, Texas. Originally from Iowa, Todd moved back to Cedar Rapids in 1984 where he continued his lawn & landscaping services & met his wife, Tami. In 1997, they purchased the current land to operate their landscaping business, as well as start a new retail garden center. As the business grew, the Culver’s recognized the need to expand. In 2005 they opened a new Landscape Design Center. Now 42 years later, the two have grown and developed the company to encompass one of the most recognized landscaping companies in Iowa, a full service garden center with gift shop, greenhouse & landscape nursery.
